Hi, I'm Hannah Finazzo-Krueger.
I am a psychotherapist, adventurer/explorer, existential detective, wife, sister, daughter, friend (in no particular order of importance.) I like to write, I like to think about things, I like to help people, and probably because I like to do all of those things, I also like to surf, run, ride, play, sail, dive, laugh, cry, create, and love as much as possible. This life we live; it’s amazing, it’s hard, and sometimes it gets a little weird. Somewhere along the way, I got pretty good at helping people navigate the amazing, hard, and weird; and I enjoy the opportunity to become a part of the journey. Being good at and enjoying what I do is important, but most folks also want to know that I am highly qualified; which brings us to the important stuff that you are probably wondering about:
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Hawaii
I am a member of the American Counseling Association
I follow the ethical guidelines of the American Counseling Association, Alcohol, and Drug Abuse Division, as well as all State of Hawaii Statutes and Laws.
I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Substance Use and Addictions, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as training as a consultant/trainer.
